Position Summary
Under the direction of Chief Operating Officer, The QA Manager is a plant staff management position who will be an early member of a rapidly growing team as ANP ENERTECH is setting up its US manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for adoption and execution of quality management system and procedures as IATF and ISO standards compliance expert, and complete oversight of all quality control tests and laboratory to meet the needs of Production and achieve customer quality requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage activities and schedules of quality technicians and internal/external auditors.
Direct supervisory responsibility for quality technicians.
Responsible for daily and monthly Quality reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop/implement actions for Quality issues.
Respond to customer (CCR) and internal quality issues (NCR)
Manage quality documentation and product specifications.
Manage quality tool calibration requirements.
Coordinate customer site visits to address quality concerns.
Maintain positive working relationships with external customers.
Engage suppliers as required on supplier quality issues and corrective actions.
Coordinate and report on internal and external audits.
Develop and implement Quality Control procedures and processes.
Ensure QMS is compliant with all related statutory and regulatory requirements.
Manage and lead internal and external audit activities.
Support internal development trials, and internal product development milestone reviews.
Lead continuous improvement of process optimization and product enhancements.
Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes for new products and processes.
Develop PFMEA/DFMEA, Process Flow/Control Plan, Quality Inspection Standards, PPAP, etc.
Interact with Manufacturing to provide real time guidance related to product quality.
Provide and organize quality training to internal customers.
Manage Quality Team resources to best meet the needs of Manufacturing.
Handle powder materials in a safe and clean manner per standard safety procedures as required.
Handle hazardous chemicals in a safe and clean manner per standard safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field or related science discipline.
5 years of experience in automotive quality function is required.
Ability to conduct hands-on quality checks.
5 years of experience with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 Standards and Customer Audits
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.
Knowledge of quality core tools such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, GD&T, & FMEA.
Knowledge of SPC & Statistical Analysis.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification is a plus.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.
Travel Requirements
Must be able to travel up to 15% as required.
Travel to HQ in South Korea may be required.
